Barbie: A Touch of Magic is an animated series that began in 2023. The first season was released on Netflix US on September 14, and the second season was released the following year on April 18, 2024. It follows Barbie: Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure. Barbie and Stacie to the Rescue was released between season 1 and 2 of the show.

Official Description
Season 1
"Barbie and Barbie discover a mysterious baby horse on the beach in Malibu and work to find out where their new four-legged friend came from. The little horse begins fulfilling the most amazing fantasies and they realize she is actually a baby Pegasus! While they try to find out how to get little Peggy home, Barbie and Barbie, with the help of their friends and Malibu's sisters, have to protect her from Rocki the Glyph, a fantastical creature who followed Peggy in hopes that she will grant the biggest wish of all-giving Rocki her own wings. Set in Malibu and featuring all-new original music, Barbie, Barbie, and their friends discover that magic really is all around us."[2]

Main Characters
- Barbie "Malibu" Roberts, voiced by America Young, is one of the main protagonists. She finds a pegasus named Peggy with her best friend Brooklyn, so they try to figure out how to get Peggy back home.
- Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts, voiced by Tatiana Varria, is one of the main protagonists. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, She moves to California with her family after finding Peggy.
- Peggy, voiced by Ariana Nicole George, is a pegasus horse from Mesmer who can grant wishes. She goes to California to complete a mission.
- Rocki the Glyph, voiced by Alex Cazares, is the main antagonist in season 1. She is from Mesmer and wants Peggy to grant her wish of having wings.
Malibu's Family
- George Roberts, voiced by Greg Chun, is Malibu's father. He is a documentary filmmaker who likes carving wooden ducks.
- Margaret Roberts, voiced by Lisa Fuson, is Malibu's mother. She is a computer engineer.
- Skipper Roberts, voiced by Kirsten Day, is Malibu's sarcastic, music-loving sister. She is the oldest of Malibu's younger sisters.
- Stacie Roberts, voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, is Malibu's sporty younger sister. She is aged between Skipper and Chelsea.
- Chelsea Roberts, voiced by Natalie Lashkari, is Malibu's imaginative 7-year-old sister.
The family lives with Malibu's cat Blissa, and the sisters' four puppies: Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey.
Brooklyn's Family
- Simone Roberts, voiced by Mela Lee, is Brooklyn's mother. She is a pilot who moves to California with her family.
- Kel Roberts, voiced by Gabe Kunda, is Brooklyn's father. He is an architect who moves to California with his family.

- Ken, voiced by Ritesh Rajan, is Malibu's childhood friend. They have a crush on each other. Ken is also friends with Brooklyn. He is neighbors with Malibu, Brooklyn and Trey.
- Nikki, Desirae Whitfield, is one of Malibu's best friends. She likes fashion and works at Oceans Extreme.
- Teresa, voiced by Cristina Milizia, is one of Malibu's best friends. She works at the pet food store.
- Renee, Stephanie Sheh, is one of Malibu's best friends. She works at Oceans Extreme.
- Daisy, voiced by Emma Galvin, is one of Malibu's best friends. She works at Oceans Extreme.
Reardon Family
- Trey Reardon, voiced by Eamon Brennan, is Malibu and Brooklyn's neighbor. He has a crush on Brooklyn.
- Poppy Reardon, voiced by Lisa Fuson, is Trey's mother. She is a real estate agent who dislikes the Roberts family.

Barbie and Barbie must look to their friends and family to help keep their new friend safe from the clutches of Rocki, a magical being with her own mystical agenda. Featuring all-new original music, Barbie and Barbie find the magic in the world around them in Barbie: A Touch of Magic.
